Core ideas
Celerity is built around three principles that shape every design decision:- Clean, functional design is the foundation of anything genuinely pleasing. Visual clutter is removed; only what you need is on screen.
- The interface becomes invisible once learned. After a few sessions the commands feel like muscle memory, not menus.
- The keyboard is a command surface, not just text entry. Every action — launching a site, searching within it, managing shortcuts, switching themes — is reachable without a mouse.
What Celerity does
Command launcher
Type a short key and press Enter to jump to any site instantly. The 12 built-in shortcuts cover the services most people use every day.
Direct site search
Add a space after the shortcut key, type your query, and Celerity searches that site directly — no need to open it first.
Custom shortcuts
Add, edit, or remove shortcuts to match your own workflow. Any key, any URL — the grid adapts automatically.
Themes
Choose from four built-in themes: system (follows your OS preference), dark, light, and void (a deep black variant).
Built-in shortcuts
Celerity ships with 12 ready-to-use shortcuts so you can start navigating immediately after installation.
Any input that does not match a shortcut key falls back to a Google search automatically, so you never need to leave the keyboard to find something.
